Looks like we can leave the snow plows off the trucks for a while. Things are slowly greening up and a few things that overwintered in the greenhouse are in bloom.

Lots of cleaning and refreshing going on this week as the spring gardening season approaches.

A short Florida vacation last weekend gave me a preview of spring. The flowering trees were mostly species not found in Ohio, but there were a few familiar blooms here and there.  This first image (click them for full size) has great contrast in texture and color.  The effect was pretty exotic.  Just what a guy from Ohio needs in February!
